This is one photo project where you really don’t need any glue, scissors
or even a pen. And once your photos are scanned, it can be a very
neat project. Of course, if you are like me, and have photos
stashed every where, waiting to be scanned, and your mother is bringing
you her photos to scan, and you can’t remember if she is bringing you
the same pictures you already had and scanned a month ago….well then it
can get a little messy!
But once you create your
digital scrapbook page (which we will explain how to do later), and
print it out,
allow the photo paper to dry completely before inserting into a sheet
protector. You will eventually place two pages into each protector
(back to back).
The protector then goes into your three ring binder.
Computer stuff you will also need
Computer & Software
Obviously, you
need a computer, And if you are reading this, I assume you have
access to one! Yet, you will also need the correct software installed on
your computer. If you don’t already have Word 2007, yet plan to purchase
it, make sure your computer has sufficient memory and the necessary
operating system. If it can’t handle Word 2007, and you still want
to digital scrapbook, consider purchasing one of the scrapbook programs
that will work on your current system.
Ink JetPrinter
LaserJet printers are much more expensive than the ink jet.
They may print faster, and at a less cost per print. But even if
you can afford to upgrade, stick with the Ink Jet for your photographs.
For once, the less expensive piece of equipment is the best choice for
printing photographs.
