Before giving Word 2007 a spin, make sure your system can handle it.
You might be tempted to download
the free trial version of Word 2007 and give it a spin. But,
unless your computer and current operating system can handle it, it
might be more frustrating than fun.
I have an old laptop at
home – in it’s day (it is about 6 years old) it was a pretty souped up
machine. Both my computer at home and at work run Windows XP.
Since I have removed many of the programs, and most of the documents
that were once on the laptop, I decided to try the Trial version
at home.
I loved the Word 2007 at
work, and was amazed at how much better it was than my old Word. So
naturally, I wanted the same for home. Unfortunately, it was just
too much for my laptop to handle. I can do work processing (I
am using it now), yet once I try to insert a picture, the machine bogs
down.
Internet ConnectionOnce again, you don’t have to have an internet connection to begin digital scrapbooking. But it you have it, it is so much better! With the internet, you have a world of clip art to embellish your digital scrapbook pages! I will expand on this in a future article.
