Adding a Border Around Your Page
with Microsoft Word 2007

Easily add a border around your scrapbook page. Choose a simple line, double lines, dashes or designs, in a variety of colors and widths. There is also a wide variety of art borders to choose from.
To add a border, click Page Layout, then click on the Page Border in the Page Layout menu bar (or ribbon, as Microsoft calls it.).  A pop up menu will open.  There are three tabs to choose from: Border, Page Border and Shading.  Select Page Border.
In the Page Border menu, you can choose a line style, the color of the line, and the width.  Under the Setting choose Box to apply the selected border, or for a shadowing effect, choose Shadowing. You can also click on the Art option, and choose from the wide array of art borders.
You also have the option to apply the border as a line, to just one side (or more) of the page. To do this, click on the various icons on the right side of the Page Border menu, under Preview.

UndoRemember - if you are unhappy with a change you made to your page, simply click the  undo  icon in the upper left hand corner of your screen, and it will undo your most recent edit to the page.
